Annual gift donations swell the Hospital’s Development Fund, which is tapped for medical equipment purchases. Gifts are made in a variety of ways, with cash and appreciated securities being the most common. The Hospital is interested, though, in considering real estate or valuable items, as well. We welcome inquiries about gifting to L&M.
Recently, the Development Fund was used to purchase the Hospital’s first fixed-site MRI scanner, as well as a second CAT scanner. Funds were also tapped for the Hospital’s Meditech computer system, which has consolidated patient records throughout the Hospital.
We recognize donors to our Annual Giving Program each year by listing their names in the Hospital’s Annual Report. Recognition events are also planned each fall to thank our supporters whose gifts qualify them for one or more of the Giving Societies...
